The Problem

Timescales. Starbucks needed a method of capturing orders from store managers and challenged EWS Digital to implement it fast. Previous processes were manual, costly and error prone.

The Solution

Order management, forecasting, powered by the Orderly Suite. We implemented the initial Orderly solution from concept to pilot phase in under three months.

Orderly have created a cutting edge enterprise customer platform for Starbucks and we continue to work in an agile fashion to collaborate on new requests and developments. Leveraging a driven relationship that is mutually beneficial both commercially and operationally within Starbucks. The ability of the Orderly team to integrate with our corporate backbone using SOA and SAAS architecture, ensures we can deliver the growth and stability we need to meet the requirements of our business partners

How It Was Done

Orderly used an agile approach to roll out our Order Management solution based on the Starbucks requirements. We had 3 teams working simultaneously on an Oracle EBS ERP connector, front end customisation including UI / UX consultation and user training materials and documentation. This allowed us to pilot in 3 Starbucks stores within the UK within 3 months - and roll out new features and products in the coming months and years.

The Results

The pilot was a big success and Starbucks immediately rolled the solution out across the whole of the EMEA region. After 4 years continually meeting our SLAs the Orderly solution is now used by 2000 Starbucks partners in over 30 different countries.
